BOMBAY TEEN CHALLENGE

Jubilee Campaign congratulates our partner, Rev. K. K. Devaraj on the 20th anniversary of founding Bombay Teen Challenge. It has been a joy and privilege to partner with the BTC team in supporting the children rescued out of Bombay's Red Light District and cared for in the Jubilee Homes. BTC is determined to abolish sexual slavery from the face of the earth in the next 15 years. We partner with BTC in this fight for abolition. Together there should be a resounding shout of "GOODNIGHT, REDLIGHT!"

Jubilee Campaign USA funds Jubilee Home IV, the AIDS Orphan Home located on the outskirts of Mumbai. It was established to care for the orphaned children of destitute mothers who died from AIDS. Currently 35 orphans receive care in Jubilee Home IV, most of whom are also infected with AIDS. Over 100 rescued girls receive care in Jubilee Homes 1-3.

In March 2010, Jubilee Campaign staff, Erin Weston and Valerie Payne, visited the Jubilee Homes and the extensive work of Bombay Teen Challenge. We are blessed to share our experience in India with you by two videos, entitled, "Window to India Jubilee IV" and "Window to India Redemption."

These two videos are found at: http://www.youtube.com/user/eaw12185

Jubilee Campaign has assembled several packets with prayer points, a list of where you can get more information or give, a sample advocacy letter, and a list of ways you can respond through your local community. If you are interested in receiving a free packet or setting up a Jewelry party or Movie Screening event, please email erinweston@jubileecampaign.org for more information.
